• Soft Tacos: Our soft flour tortillas are made fresh in the restaurants every 15 minutes and served to order. We also have white corn tortillas as a gluten-free alternative to flour. Our Street Tacos are served on fresh yellow corn tortillas. Soft tacos are the traditional carriers for tacos since the days of ancient Mexico. In fact, the word “taco” is believed to come from the Nahuatl word “tlahco”, which translates to “in the middle”.
• Crispy Tacos: Hard tacos are made with a crispy corn shell. Hard tacos have been around since at least the 1890s and since then, they have become an American favorite and a TexMex staple.

At Taco Cabana, you can’t go wrong with either the crispy or soft option. It’s all a matter of preference.

Now the fillings:

• Steak and Chicken Fajitas: Our steak and chicken fajitas are marinated and grilled to perfection. They come topped with grilled peppers and onions for a savory kick. They pair nicely with any drink on the menu but go especially well with our signature frozen tequila margaritas.
• Street Tacos: Inspired by Mexican street food, we start with three fresh yellow corn tortillas and fill them with diced fajita meat or carne asada and top them off with freshly chopped cilantro and white onion. For the perfect finish, they come served with lime wedges and are complemented by our range of house-made salsas.
• Ground Beef: Ground beef is a hearty meat that pairs well with virtually all Mexican cuisine. Top ground beef off with fresh chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese and you have a classic taco. Our Ground Beef Tacos can be enjoyed in a crispy shell or soft tortilla, and are complemented by our wide variety of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
• Shredded Chicken: Our shredded chicken is marinated in a proprietary blend of spices and slow-cooked for the perfect shredded texture. The tacos are topped with fresh chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese and can be enjoyed in a crispy shell or soft tortilla.
• Bean: Bean tacos are a satisfying alternative to meat-based tacos. Excellent Taco Tuesday fare in their own right, our classic Bean & Cheese Taco is a fan-favorite best seller and our Black Bean Taco, made with rice, lettuce and tomato is also popular with vegetarians.

• Margarita pairings have more to do with the seasoning than the filling: While it is true that citrus flavors are stellar with grilled meats, our tacos go well with every margarita on the menu. Fruity frozen margaritas give you more leeway and can pair nicely with spicy foods.
• Cilantro isn’t for everybody: A lot of people love cilantro, while others find the taste soapy. Your DNA is responsible. If you’re in the mood for street tacos but don’t have the cilantro gene, you can order them without the toppings.
• Don’t be afraid to branch out: You can always stick with our taco deals, or you can mix it up with Quesadillas, Chips and Queso or Guacamole, Churros, and other TC favorites.
