(DENTON) Taco Cabana returns to Denton on Monday, Sept. 21, with the opening of its new restaurant at 2330 W. University Drive in the Rayzor Ranch Town Center.

To celebrate, the restaurant hosted a community ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Denton Chamber of Commerce and will have a fiesta from 2-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The company had to close its only Denton location at 1300 Interstate 35E in January 2015 for the widening of the highway.

“We made a promise to our loyal fans to bring Taco Cabana back to Denton, and we look forward to exceeding their expectations with a new restaurant that’s bigger and better than ever,” said Taco Cabana Chief Operating Officer Todd Coerver. “We invite our neighbors to join in on our fun-filled fiesta celebration full of giveaways – one lucky person will even win free TC for a Year*.”

The 3,588-square-foot restaurant features a new prototype design with an open kitchen that showcases Taco Cabana’s signature flame grill and tortilla-making station and an indoor/outdoor patio where guests can enjoy handmade, Mexican-inspired food and beverages including Mexican Coca-Cola® and tequila margaritas.

The location will be open 24 hours daily for dine-in and drive-thru service. For more information, please visit www.tacocabana.com.
