Taco Cabana is committed to providing a competitive benefits package to our employees and their families. The following information is a summary of employee benefits available to Restaurant Managers, Assistant General Managers and Corporate Employees.

This summary is not intended to cover all aspects of the plan(s) and instead summarizes our rich plan.

Medical Plan
Comprehensive medical PPO style covers ordinary visits to the doctor at a minimal copay. 

Dental Plan
Our dental plan will cover many of the basics at 100% such as semi-annual checkups, cavities and cleanings.

Basic Life Insurance and AD&D
A benefit that is provided by the company, this will give you a life insurance policy equivalent to one year’s salary.

Supplemental  Life Insurance
Supplemental Life Insurance allows you to purchase, at a discount, additional life insurance up 3 times your annual salary.

Short Term Disability (STD)
Short term disability is available for all levels of restaurant management and covers a portion of your salary while you are out on a medical leave (up to 26 weeks).

Long Term Disability (LTD)
Taco Cabana provides long-term disability to restaurant management at no cost. This benefit covers 60% of your salary, should you be out longer than 26 weeks.

Business Travel Accident Insurance
Benefits under this plan are payable in the event of catastrophic loss (death, dismemberment or injury) while traveling on company business.

Tuition Reimbursement
Our tuition reimbursement is available to all members of the Taco Cabana family.  Certain requirements must be met for eligibility.  Once met, your grades determine your reimbursement.  If your grade is an “A”, you will be reimbursed at 100% of the cost of the class, “B” is 80% and “C” will be reimbursed at 70%.

Vacation
Vacation for salaried employees is based on length of service with Taco Cabana, and is credited each year on your anniversary date with Taco Cabana.
